 एक बात तुम कहो एक राज़ मैं खोलूं एक पंक्ति तुम लिखो कुछ अल्फ़ाज़ मैं पिरो लूं एक गीत तुम गुनगुनाओ बेफिक्र मैं झूम लूं एक मुस्कुराहट तुम्हारी और खिलखिलाकर मैं हंस लूं एक कविता तुम पढ़ो मेरे लिए मैं पूरा उपन्यास रच दूं एक तस्वीर तुम्हारी मैं किताबों में दफ़न कर लूं एक कदम तुम बढ़ाओ  मैं राह अपनी चुन लूं एक आवाज़ तुम लगाओ जिसे मैं दिन भर सुन लूं एक ख्वाहिश तुम्हारी मैं ख्वाब अपना बुन लूं एक पहर हो अगर तुम तो उसमें, बस चंद पल मैं हो लूं और अंत में जो अलविदा तुम कहो तो सदा के लिए ओझल मैं हो लूं                                                                      - प्रावी
