Have you ever seen the different shades

That the sunset brings

Have you ever heard the lullabies

That the moon sings

Have you ever giggled

When the wind naughtily plays with you

Have you ever allowed sunshine

To be absorbed by your every pore

Have you ever listened to the birds in the morning

And gave them a soft encore

Have you ever made constellations of moles

And matched them with the stars

Have you ever found happiness

In things that are dull and vain

Have you ever cried hard 

And held yourself through pain

Have you ever embraced a person as a whole

And not just their body

Have you ever heard the voices of your favourite people

And considered yourself lucky

Have you ever looked at the sky

And asked "Am I worthy"

Have you ever been awestruck

By nature's beauty

Have you ever let smile fall upon your cheeks

And cherished that feeling

Have you ever waited patiently

When you were healing

Have you ever let yourself 

Get lost inside a book

Have you ever tried

To go beyond society's perception of beauty

Have you ever questioned them

And regarded it your duty

Have you ever hesitated

To wish someone on their birthday

(Sometimes you did and sometimes you skipped)

Have you ever loved yourself

As you expect it from someone else

Have you ever liked someone

And watched how your heart melts

Have you ever gone out of your way

And made someone's day
