It is the same struggle Every single day At night, I toss and turn Not being able to fall asleep Then again in the morning I toss and turn Not wanting to leave the bed Every five minute nap Snatches hours away And when I finally get up The sun is ready to shoot me Beams right at my forehead Mocks at my dismay As if it was waiting To give me a lecture for wasting another day Sermons after sermons Explaining tenets of discipline Forgetting that I once used to Wake up way before him But what am I to say And what am I to do For how long can someone Drag their past into defence I don't have a clue Gone are those days GONE or LOST What might befit Who cares ! But they must have taken me as well I presumed Where ? I looked around And saw the sun Being swallowed by the horizon I surmised Horizon That must be it That is the place The Lost and Found box Of the Universe Are you there ?
